Frog Easy Camera

Privacy Policy · Free. Simple. Respectful.

The short version: Frog Easy Camera has no ads, subscriptions, accounts, analytics, or tracking. The Developer does not collect or sell personal information. Pictures stay on your phone unless you choose to share them using another app.

Effective date: October 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the Frog Easy Camera Android application (the “App”), provided by Frogdadday (the “Developer”).

Our promise

The App is free to use. It contains no advertisements, subscriptions, paywalls, paid features, user accounts, analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, profiling, or user tracking. The Developer does not collect, receive, sell, rent, or share personal information through the App.

The App does not use a Developer-operated server or cloud-sync service. It does not upload camera pictures, camera activity, device identifiers, or usage history to the Developer.

Information used and stored on your device

Camera pictures

The App uses the selected phone camera while the camera screen is open. Camera audio is disabled, and the App does not record sound. Pictures are processed locally and saved in the shared Pictures/Frog Easy Camera album so they can appear in gallery apps. The Developer cannot see or retrieve them.

Pinch zoom and camera switching control camera hardware on the device. The App does not record a history of zoom levels or selected cameras.

Timers, interval pictures, and review

During a timer or interval session, the App temporarily keeps the countdown, progress, picture count, and references to pictures from that session in memory. This information is not uploaded. Leaving or interrupting the camera stops an active session safely. Saved pictures remain on the phone.

The review screen reads only pictures taken during the current camera session. If you select Make this my background, Android reads that saved picture and applies it to the Home screen, Lock screen, or both, as you choose.

Android permissions

The App requests only access needed for features you choose:

  • Camera: shows the preview and takes pictures. Audio recording is disabled.
  • Photos or storage on Android 9 and earlier: requested only after you choose to take, time, or interval-capture a picture, and used only to save that newly taken picture in the public Frog Easy Camera album. The App does not browse, collect, or change your other files. Newer Android versions do not require broad storage access for this action.
  • Set wallpaper: lets the App apply a picture as a background only after you choose the picture and destination.

Screen behavior: the App keeps the display awake only while a timer or interval session is running, then releases that setting when the session finishes, stops, or is interrupted. This does not require access to personal information.

If access is denied or a feature is unsupported, the App explains what happened and may offer to open the phone’s camera app. Denying access does not give the Developer any information.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

The App contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, profiling, social-media, or third-party tracking SDKs. It does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or create a user profile.

Retention, deletion, and backups

Pictures remain in the phone’s shared Frog Easy Camera album until you delete them using a gallery or file app. Because pictures are stored outside the App’s private storage, uninstalling the App may not delete them.

Android backup is disabled for the App. The Developer has no remote copy of your pictures or activity and cannot recover or delete information stored on your phone.

Links and outside services

The App itself has no Android internet permission. The Privacy Policy and optional Buy Me a Coffee buttons ask your browser to open a webpage only when you press them. Browser activity is separate from using the App.

This policy page is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process connection and usage information under its privacy statement. This page has no added analytics, advertisements, cookies, forms, or tracking scripts.

If you choose the optional Buy Me a Coffee link, that service may process connection, payment, and supporter information under its privacy policy. Support is never required and never unlocks features. The App does not receive payment information.

Android, Google Play, your device manufacturer, and other apps you open at your request may independently process information needed to provide their services under their own terms and privacy policies.

Children’s privacy

The App does not transmit personal information to the Developer from any user, including children. It has no account, chat, public profile, or in-app sharing service.

Direct communications

If you contact the Developer outside the App, the Developer receives the information you choose to provide. That information is used to respond, is not sold, and is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry or applicable legal obligations. Please do not send private pictures unless necessary for your question.

Changes to this policy

If the App’s features or privacy practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date before the changed version is released.
